LODGE MEETING.
' The usual weekly. session of tho Jung's Coronation Lodge of'- Good Templars was held.last Friday night. Bro. .11....M0rri5," C.T/i.was/in the chair,' and; there, was a large attendance. /I'wo new' members, were- initiated into the' order. / Bro.' T; : W. Steel, who./has been laid uside with illness in tho- Blenheim Hospital, :;was "in attendance, and .received -a hearty welcome. 'He thanked all the members for the many kindnesses extended to him. After routine business; a debate, 'took place, on "Should Bachelors bo Taxed?" The arguments put forth cm each sido were, interesting and'amusing. -.- A vote of the members decided against the tax. Greetings from various-.lodges ..were received -and reciprocated. Matters were reported to be. weE-in hand" for tho coming anniversary. . Next meeting .is ah open night, in chargo of Sister Herdman.
