BROOKLYN WESLEYAN ANNIVERSARY.

For some tirne past the. children of the Brooklyn branch of tho Wcsloyan Church have been studiously practising their anniversary hymns, under the conductorship of Mr. Wilton,-and yesterday saw the consummation of theiT efforts,, the occasion being the' second anniversary'. Fullford's Hall was secured for the occasion, and. through; the endeavours of many willing workers was suitably decorated. In the singing, the children did splendidly, and the result' reflects great credit upon Mr. Wilton. In the morning the Rev. T." Fee.was the officiating minister,, and he chose for the basis of his remarks the, text: / "Follow- Me" (Matt. 4-19). In an interesting address to the children, the ' speaker pointed out that it was Christ's desire that they should , all follow Him. home, and, by story and anecdote, Mr. Fee. explained how .this ! could be accomplished. ' In the afternoon Mr. .Wright,. M.P... conducted the service. The Rev. J. K. Clark, the minister of the district', occupied the pulpit in the evening. Before commencing his address, he called, upon Mi. Garner, superintendent of the school, who would unavoidably be absent from the prize-giving on Tuesday : night,-, to say a few words to the parents. Mr. Gamer, in the 'course of his remarks, stated the fact that owing, he believed, to the enthusiastic : efforts of; the teachers, tho numbers on the Toll had doubled since last year.
