LICENSING MEETING.
WELLINGTON DISTRICT. Mr. W. R. Hascldeu, S.M., presided at tlio quaiteilj meeting of the Wellington Licensing Committee, which was held at the Magistrate's Court at noon jestcrday. Transfers were granted as follow. — Cambiidgo Hotel, H. Goodwin to M. O'Neill; Shamrock Hotel, A. M. S. Nannestad to M. Cooper; Pnnce of Wales Hotel, A. Quinn to M. J. O'Brien; City Buffet H6tel,.A. 11. V. Lodder to P. J. Oakcs; White Swan Hotel, H. G. Houldsv.orth 10 P. J. Kenny. ' Transfer of the Piincess i Theatre Hotel from F. 0 "Weine to K. A. V. Allen was adjour/ied m.iil October 5. Mr. B J. Fitzgibbon, who appeared in support ot tho application, said lie understood thai , theie was a difficulty between the \endor and purchasei as to the repairs and who should pav for them. Ho was able to say that the matter would be adjusted within a foitnight. The money for the repairs had already been deposited.' Ho suggested the adjournment, which was granted.
