TO-DAY'S DINNER.
(Specially written for The Dominion.) MONDAY. .Vegetable soup. Shepherd's , pie. Potatoes. Vegetable marrow. Rice "pudding. Stewed figs. ' , SHEPHERD'S PIE.- ■ / Half-pound cold moat,, half small ( onion, half tablespoonful of parsley, seasoning,. stock or water, sauce or ketchup, cold potatoes, ■' ' ( Chop the onion fine and fry in a little dripping until tender; mince . tho meat and parsley. Mix all well, add seasoning and sauce- and.gravy, and put into a pie-dish.' Cover with a thick layer of mashed potatoes, smooth over wiih a knife dipped in hot water, and mark with a fork. ( Put a few pieces of dripping on the 'top, and put into a moderate oven to get thorouglily hot throagh—about half an hour.
