REMARKABLE CASE AT PERTH

The victim possesses the same surname as ; the victim of the English incident. On August, 1 Edwin Beck was sentencol to three months'', imprisonment on a charge of uttering a cheque. He was able to prove that he was,not the man wanted, and was liberated. Almost immediately ho was rearrested 'on a difference charge—uttering. • /The second alleged offeiico, happened, while he was in gaol. Ho is. taking proceedings against the informant in the case. -
