Jamicson, Ltd., of' this city, received notification to-day that the Minister of Public Works has accepted their tender of £53,564 for the erection of the new Government buildings at the corner of Worcester Street. and Cathedral SquaTO. No time will be lost in putting tho work in band, and.Mr. Jameson, who is present in Auckland in connection with the erection of the new post office there will be in Christchurch early next vreok. It is understood that there ' wa-s a fairly large amount of competition for tho work.
