Lower Hutt Wedding. Last AYednesday afternoon, Miss W. N. Janios, youngest daughter of Mr. T. Jtuuc-s, of LowerHutt, was married to Mr. W. N." Buck, only son of the late Mr. A. J. Buck, of "Tho Oaks," Taita. The ceremony was performed by -the Rev. J.' Jones, at St. James's .Church, Lower Hutt. The bride, whose charming dress was of silk and chiffon, with veil imd orange blossoms, and who carried a beautiful bouquet of spring flowers, was given away by her father; The bridesmaids, were Hiss A. James (sister of the bride), Miss-M. Buck (sister of the groom), and Miss Joyce Aldous (niece, of the bride), who all wore'dresses of pink crepe-de-chine, and black hats wreathed witli pink roses. Mr. T. Marshall was; best man, .and Mr. E. A. V. Oswiri groomsman. : After the ceremony a reception was held at the residence of Mr. Aldous. Lator in the day Mr. and, Mrs. Buck left for Palmerstbn. The bride's travelling dress was a pale amethyst cloth trimmed with-black silk, and a black hat. Mission Sale of Work, . - ( , A. successful sale of. work took place yesterday afternoon and evening at the residence of Mrs. H. W. Korsloy, Kelburne Parade. For several months, Hie members of the Mount Cook Young Women's Bible 'Class, of which -Mrs. Korsley is. the leader, have been working under the leadership of Mrs. Kersley with the object of assisting mission work. Mrs. Kersley's beautiful home lent itself in nyery way to a charming- display. The dining-room -contained' fancy sweet and cake stalls, while the drawing-rooni was delightfully-. arranged for the cosiest of afternoon-tea rooms. The study was used as a flower room and was filled with lovely' blooms. FloWers were sent from Pukehou, '■ Masterton, Wanganui, Hastings,, and Nelson. Mr. Kersley introduced t Mrs. C. S.
