A series of cottage prayer-meetings, in connection with the forthcoming visit of Dr. Henry, arc being held in Feilding. The' quarterly meeting of the. Feilding. and Rongotea Primitive Methodist Circuit was hold in the Peilding Church this week. The Rev. J. Sharp occupied the chair.. Tho Rev. D. B. F. Carlisle was appointed, secretary. The"... various churches were reported, to be in 'a-fairly prosperous, condition iwtli numerically and financially.. The Rev. J. Sharp, superintendent of the, circuity received and accepted a unanimous, invitation for another year. Mr. Carlisle preferred leaving his future appointment entirely in the hands of the . conference.. The Revs. O. J.. Kimberley and F. Long, of the C.E.M.'S., spent the weekend hero, the former conducting services at the Anglican Church on Sunday. On Jlonday night he dealt with mission work in India, Japan, China, Arabia, and North America.
