"ALADDIN." To-niglit at 7.45 sharp the. curtain y/ill riso oil the first production in ■'Wellington of. J'. C. "Williamson's nnntomima extravaganza "Aladdin." Seats in ' both the 'dress circle and reserved stalls can be obtained at the Dresden and day sales can be purchased at, Christensen's. The performers, in "Aladdin," it is claimed, include some of tho world's-most, prominent pantomiiuists, whilo the specialty turns are a special feature of tlie performance. Messrs. Price and Revost,- it is.stated, astonished playgoers of Sydney and' Melbourne' by their comedy acrobatic turn, and Mr. William Hassan, hy bis-. unique presentation cf a . donkey, was proclaimed as one of the finest animal impersonators ever seen in Aiistralia. Mr. Harry Phydora of. "Mother Goose" fame, will make his reappearance in the role of the Widow Twankoy, and ho is ensured of a hearty reception.' Mr. J. M. Campbell's reappearance will also be welcomed, whilst others , in the cast who have already appeared ' here very successfully are Messrs. Victor Loydall, Rupert Darroll, Bert Watson, Clyde Cook, and Edward Sutton. Mnch interest will bo taken hr the.debut of Miss Eva Moore, sister of Carrie Moore, and -in tho -re-appearance; of the charming young- Australian' vocalist Miss Mario Baton. SUNDAY CONCERT. ■> . Gu'Sunday evening uext, in.the Town Hall, the AVellington Professional Orchestra will give a Special concert. Theichief item on the programme will be the "Eide of the Valkyries,"- to be given by the orchestra under the conductorship of Mr. Herbert Bloy, Grieg's "Peer Gynt" suite, and "Bohemian Girl" overture will also be-given! Mrs.,. A. C- Orr-Loring will contribute two items, recit. and aria "I WiUExtolThee" (from Elijah), and "Come unto Him" (from the "Messiah")-. An enjoyable entertainment was held last evening in the Terrace- School when an. audienco of considerable dimensions The programme included songs, dances, humorous sketches ; : and other items-in several of which the part of performers was borne by pupils of tho school. Some of the juveniles were of "infant" grade, but all carried their parts with conspicuous success. The concluding item was a clever' sketch by members of tho Mountebank Dramatic Club, entitled "Diamond cut Diamond.' ,
