The international Encliaristic Congress is to be held in Montreal from September Gto 11. Cardinal Vannutelli will represent tliejloly Father on this.,occasion. He was to'leave Ostend on'August'2s, going direct •for London.. A few days later lie and his retinue, and also tlio Archbishop of Westminster, and the Duke of Norfolk, were to leave for Liverpool, where they would board a specially-chart-ered steamship, tlio Empress of Ireland, which will taKe them direct to Quebec. Fully-200,000 visitors are. expected during the weelc of the Congress. , The Catholic Club of- New York has chartered a train on which it will travel to Montreal. The principal speakers of the Congress will be tho Papal Legate, Cardinal Gibbons, the Archbishop of Westminster, Archbishop O'Connell of Boston,. Archbishop Glennon of St. Louis, and professors from the leading universities of Canada, the' United States, and other countries.
