At tho instance of tho Official Assignee, Mr. A. Simpson, a -warrant was taken out yesterday for the arrest of Alfred Frank Biggins, grocer, of Wellington, who was declared a bankrupt by Mr. Justice Chapman in the Supreme Court on Monday. A constable will convey the warrant to Hobart, Tasmania, whero it is believed that the bankrupt is at present residing. Yesterday tho boys of the Wellington College football team, with their visitors from Wanganui Collegiate School and Christ's College, who are taking part in the inter-collegiate tourney, had a day's respite from football. The morning was spent in a drivb to Island Bay. In' tho evening the teams were entertained at dinner bv Mr. J. P. Firth, and'a visit to tho theatre was. the concluding item of tlio day. To-day there will be a match between Christ's College and Wanganui Collegiate School on the-college grounds, commencing at 2.45 p.m. In tho evening, tho players will be entertained by Mrs. Firth at'a dance in tho Town Hall.
