TO-DAY'S DINNER.
(Specially written for Tee Dominion.) ■ MONDAY Kidnoy soup. Minced meat and bacon. Mashed . potatoes. Artichokes. Tapioca pudding, -Stewed fruit. .KIDNEY SOUP. ' : One ox kidney, 3 pints of stock, veil flavoured with vegetables, loz. butter, 1* oz. flcur." 1 teaspoonful of sugar, salt. ■ Cut th'o ox kidney into thin slices, season these with salt and popper, and cirodgo with flour. Fry in buiter a nice brown, cover with warm', water, and simmer gently for one hour. , !ako out tno kidney, cut into small pieces, and return to the saucepan together, with 3 pints of stock. Simmer gently, and thicken with Uoz. flour rolled in loz. butter. Boil .five minutes, stirring all the time. Season and serve.. FOR TO-MORROW. Two pounds tripo. Turnips. Figs. Suet.
