August 28, 5.5 p.m.) London, .August 27. ■ The Vegetable Fibro iu Wool Committee reports that the larger growers in Victoria, New- Zealand, and Sputh Africa havo responded ,to .the recommendations made by the committee for reducing the trouble, but there has been little response . from New South Wales, South Australia, and West Australia to the request to pack properly. The consumers are showing an increased preference where /the clips are packed according to the recommendations. The French Association of Spinners has inaugurated a conference to be held at Roiibnix in 1911 to consider tho matter and to discuss the London warehouses' improved methods of dealing with loose fibre. ' \
