Ewan Campbell (Wanganui), 11. A. Novins (To Nui) representing' the "Wellington Farmers' Union. 'Mr.;S. J5. Wright (secretary), represented the Hawko's Bay Sncepowncrs' Union, and Messrs. J. 6. .Challis, ,lt. M'Hac, and E. W. Abbott represenW tho . Shearers' "Uniom'-Mr. L'aracy, secretary of - tho - Shearors' Union, was also present.Tho shearors' - demands, after considerablo discussion, were eventually left, over, as they were the same; as those which were discussed at-Master-ton recently, where no agreement was arrived at. It was annoitnccd that the demands referring to cooks had been withdrawn, 'as'thero' was already a cook's award in tho Wellington industrial district. The demands of tho shed hands were also considered, but no agreement' was arrived' at, and the whole.'dispute, will now come before the' Arbitration Court at its sitting in ..Wellington on.September 22. :-.
