Borden, Canadian Minister for Militia and Defence, speaking at Ottawa, said that 96 per cent, of the Dominion's Militia wero attending the training camps, and had earned efficiency pay for the accuracy of their shootiug. He welcomed the Australian cadets who recently toured Britain. The cadet movomont. in Canada had, he said, made remarkable progress owing to a gift of £60,000 made by Lord Strathcona, High Commissioner in England for Canada.
