A SUGGESTION DECLINED: By Teleffraph—Press Association—Copyright (Rec. August 26, 10.50 p.m.) London, August 26. .'.-A correspondent has written to' Lord Crowe, Secretary of State for tho Colonies, suggesting that in view of the possibility of a general election in the'near future,, and tho probability of a small majority on .either side, the leading' members of tho Opposition should be invited to attend tho Imperial Conference next year.
