"GOING ON A LONG JOURNEY." (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) Christchurch, "August 25. Juanita Alexandria Burn, a married woman 32 years of age, committed suicide last night by jumping off the pier at.New Brighton. The body was found this morning. She left a note to her sister saying: "I could not stand these voices in my cars any longer, aud I am going on a long journey." She had been in indifferent health lately.

At the inquest on Mrs. Burn, no fresh facts were disclosed, and a verdict was returned that deceased was found drowned, but that there was no evidence to show how she got into the water.
