TO-DAY'S DINNER.

(Specially written tor The Dominion.) - WEDNESDAY. Pea soup. Eoast shoulder of mutton. Onion sauce. Baked potatoes. Cabbage. Steamed cottage pudding. Sweet melted butter. STEAMED COTTAGE .PUDDING. . Two teacupfnls of' flour, one teaeupful of suet, one teaeupful of sugar, one teacupful of milk, one egg, halt teaspoonful of carbonate of soda, one teaspoonful of cream of-tartar, half teaeupful of sultanas, grated rind of half a lemon. Shred the suet and chop it finely, prepare the fruit, dissolve the soda in ' a little warm milk, mix all the dry ingredients well, add the egg well beaten, and the milk' and soda. Pour into ,a wellgreased basin and 6team for one hour and a half. Serve with sweet melted butter.
