Fencing bouts, ■ spectacular military tableaux, physical drill displays, bayonet exercises, to which will be added a musical programme of more than average merit, will be the distinguishing features of the entertainment which is now being arranged by the executive committee of the Wellington Garrison Rifle Association. Tho date of the event has been fixed for September 21, at the Concert Chamber, Town flail. Among the tableaux, for which rehearsals are now in aotive progress, will be an imposing naval and military display,- depicting life in camp and on board ship. The performance will open with tableaux, and as there will be no drop curtain, those taking part will simply "break-off," as they say on parade, after each, and the programme will continue. There will also be an amusing skit on the methods of doughty marksmen when engaged in totting up championship scores. The entertainment is in aid of the funds of the Rifle Association.
