"The Times's" correspondent emphasises the'fact'that the public are unwilling to pay, because they . are able from the-highways to see tho flights. "If is doubtful," adds "The Times," "whether any future organised meetings will be held in Britain, unless the airmen's programmes are adjuncts to particular gatherings. NAVAL OFFICERS TO BE TRAINED. Paris, August 22. The French Minister for Marine, Admiral de Lapeyrere, declares that seven French naval officers will shortly be licensed as airmen.
