TO-DAY'S DINNER.
(Specially written ior The Dominion.) TUESDAY. White soup. Steak and kidney pudding. ■ Potatoes. Parsnip fritters. 'Stewed prunes. Boiled rice. STEAK AND 'KIDNEY PUDDING. Two pounds steak, 2 sheep's kidneys, 1 dessertspoonful of Hour, 1 teaspoontul oi salt, of pepper, lib. flour, 4oz. sueti 1 level teaspoonful ot baking powder. Cold water to mix. • Cut the steak and kidneys into small; pieces and mix with the small-quantity of flour, pepper and salt. Shred and chop the .suet ilnd mix' l with the .flour and a pineh of salt. : Make a well and mix to n stiff paste with cold Mater. ollt about a quarter of an inch thick. Line a well-greased pudding Lasin, fill with steak and kidney, half fill with water, coyer with the rest of the crust, tie down tightly, and boil for four hours. Turn out and serve.
FOR TO-MORROW. Half-pint split peas. Shoulder of mutton. Onions. Cabbage, Suet. Sultansis.
