CHOLERA IN EUROPE.
\ ♦ THE ITALIAN OUTBREAK. .fly Telegraph-Press Association-Copyrighl. ' Rome, August 21. Tho cholera outbreak in the' province of' Apulia, Southern Italy, is not spreading. There are six fresh cases, but no deaths,' at Trani, and five fresh cases and two deaths at Barlotta. All tho patients at Anrio, Bisceglie, and Bimonto are progressing favourably towards recovery.
FURTHER CASES REPORTED. (Rec. August 22, 10.5 p.m.) Rome, August 22. Nino fresh cases of cholera are reported at Trani in Apulia, and five deaths have occurred. ; There are three cases at Carignola and two of the patients have died.
PRECAUTIONS TAKEN ABROAD. London, August 21. Stringent precautions against cholera have been taken on the French, frontiers and at seaports. ! The British Local Government Board ■enjoins vigilance on the part of riparian and sanitary authorities. - ■
DISEASE RAGING IN RUSSIA. (Rec. August 22, 10.5 p.m.) St. Petersburg, August 22. There have been 7000 cases of cholera during the week and 3000 deaths.
