SAILORS' REST.

A large audience assembled in the Sailors' Best last evening, when the St.. Patrick's Seamen's Conference of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul gave their usual fortnightly entertainment. The programme submitted was of tie usual high standard, items being contributed by .tlie following:—Piano solo, Miss Q. Dolierty; song, Mr. E. Walslic; song, Miss M. Frith; song, Mr. W. Scrimegeour; recitation, Mr. Ambrose;, song, Miss A. Frith; comic songs, Mr.- C. S. Wilson; song, Mr. D. Henderson; song, Miss Dolierty; waltz, clog, and sailor's hornpipe, Miss and Master Rowcll. The accompaniments were efficiently played by the Misses Frith, Dolierty, and Mr. Scrimegeour. Captain Bonner returned thanks to the performers.
