TJie Emperor Francis Joseph, of Aus-'tria-Hungary, is celebrating his SOtli birthday at Isohl. , Seventy-four archdukes and archduchesses are attending the festivities. The presents'to the Emperor are not costly as ho 'desires rather that any moneys should be presented to charities. . An honours list has been issued, embracing 500 persons,- including 114 women. •. Ischl is brilliantly illuminated, and bonfires are alight on the peaks of the Austrian Alps and the Carpathians.
