THE DIRECTORS' REPORT. Tho.annual. meeting of tho Rauinati Co-operative-Dairy-Company, Ltd., will be held in;-tho Schoolroom at Raumati next Saturday, at'l p.m. • ■Tho report,of.tho.directors to tho shareholders'is'as follows:—As predicted in -the formor/report, a very much larger .quantity of milk'has been handled this season at the factory than last, but in consequence of the lower price obtained iu London for tho cheese, a reduced bonus has to. be offered . you. Last year, tho averago London prices were': White- 595., 'and.coloured Cls. per.'cwt., .while this year,'for. the same description and grade, only 575.' and- 565. were obtained. ' For next season a still'larger supply, of milk is expected. After paying out advances totalling '..£3177 18s. lid., there remains a : surplus of £W '75.'..1 d., and this the directors recommend should bo applied in paying an additional Hd. per lb. on butter-fat, which will absorb os. 2d., and carrying forward the balance. Tho following are the particulars of milk supplied and'cheese'manufactured during the season -.-Milk,' 2,185,1291b.; butter-fat content, 81,7551b.; cheeso . manufactured .(all first; grade), 220,1191b.; highest test, C per cent; lowest test,, 3:4 . per cent.; average test, 3.88. per cent.; pounds milk per lb. : cheese, 0.91b.; pounds cheese per lb. butter-fat, • 2:61b.; aiid manufacturing cost.of lib. cheese, delivered at railway station, .61d.
