The Wellington Catholic Club aro to bo congratulated on tho very excellent per'formance of. the • comedy "Mendlp's Marriage," given in the Concert Chamber last evening., The comody is atclcvcr one, and its performance,: based on an amateur standard, was distinctly, good. Miss Ivy Scott, as Lydia Mendle, acted with graceand refinement, and good comedy was cheerfully ladled out by Mr. Charles Gamble as Montague Mendle, Mr. Daniel Moriarty as Captain Gullendar, and Mr. Carl Pfaff as Jonas Toddleham. Others who contributed to tho general success of the performance were: Miss Juliet O'Neill, Miss Ida Barrington, Miss Norah Kenny, Mr. .Jas.' , M'Donald, and Mr. Dennis Kelly. Mr. S. Cinimo controlled tho orchestra. Tho proceeds of. the entertainment wore in aid of tho funds of the Northland Catholic School.
