Mr. Tudor, Minister for Customs, informed a deputation asking for a bonus for the development of the oil and shale industry that the Government had decided to introduce, in the near future, a Bounties Bill providing for a bonus of. .£IO,OOO a year for fivo years for the production of refined keroseno in Australia. • . Tho conditions would be so framed that imported crudo oil refined in Australia would not be eligible for tho bounty.
