With regard to tho libel action being brought by Dr. Clarke (Anglican Archbishop) against John Norton, newspaper proprietor, an application was made by plaintiff in the Practice Court that defendant should give further particulars of the defence, on the ground that tho defence, as stated, was. embarrassing, oppressive, and irrelevant. .;. . His Honour agreed that particulars should be given. - .The case stands over.
