» . MINERS' CONGRESS. STRIKES' AND LIMITATION OF OUTPUT. By Telegraph-Presß Association-Copyright. Brussels, August 13. Tho International Miners' Congress has concluded. It was resolved that in the event of an international coal strike in ono country the neighbouring countries should limit the output. A proposal for a fortnight's holiday annually, and a scheme for regulating tho output, were carried. INCREASE IN WACES. EFFECT ON EXPORT TRADE. Sydney, August 13. A recent standard. Country Sawmills' Wages Board granted increases in wages. The manager of a Graf ten, mill states that, tho export trade will be discontinued, as the mills will'bo unable to compete with other : lowerwage States.' This will reduoe' the hands employed to one-third of the present number. AN ADELAIDE DISPUTE. THE MAYOR INTERVENES. Adelaide, August 13. Owing to the intervention (of the Mayor (Mr. Cohen), Simpson and Co.'s fnundry operatives, who struck because of tho dismissal of a moulder (who asked for higher wages) win return to work on Monday, on the understanding that the State Conciliation Board will consider the matter in dispute, and wake its award retrospective to the date of the men returning to work. SLAUOHTERMEN'S DISPUTE. Sydney, August 13. Tho Glebe Island carcass butchers have offered the men the rates of pay asked for pending tho decision of the Wages Board. They ask for a reply by noon. to-day. -'
