' ft. . ..— '. Tho second muuting of the newlyformed Leicestershire Society was held on Tuesday night at Murdoch's Rooms, Cuba Street', when a very enjoyable evening was spont. Business transacted included tho election of "tho following officers President, Mr. J. Rabbit; secretary, Mr. J. Bates; treasurer, Mr: Otto Smith;' committee, Messrs.' P. Whyat, C. Pauling, E. Garnet, J. Jlarriott, H. Smith, Blower, and A. Riddington. Another meeting of the society will be held 011 Tuesday,-August 10. ' ' ■ , •
