A first-class entertainment is promised to patrons of tho concert promoted by the Wellington Lacrosse Association in aid of its funds, and which is to be held in St. Peter's Schoolroom, Ghuznec Street, on Friday evening next. An oxcellcnt programme has.' beeu arranged by Mr. A. G. Anderson, and will comprise music, song, and story by popular local per-, formers, and a playet.te, entitled "4 Bachelor's Reverie' and "Her Old Sweethearts." Opportunity will bo taken at tho concert to welcome back the representative team which so signally defeated Auckland last Saturday. The proceeds are in aid of tho association's funds. Mr. Edward Collie, art furniture manufacturer, Eiddiford Street, inserts a special announcement in this issue. A concert will be held in St. Peter's Schoolroom to-morrow, night, particulars ot which appear in this issue. Messrs. H.
