HIGH SCHOOL BURNT. (By Teleeraph—l'res3 Association.; Auckland, August 10. The main building of. the Paeroa District High School was completely destroyed by fire at 1.30 o'clock Hhis morning. There was only an inadequate, water pressuro available The infant department was saved. The teachers are heavy losers. The building ■ • was worth about .£IOOO. The cause'of the firo is a mystery. •
