INDUSTRIAL. ASSOCIATION.
The following were present at a meeting of the General Committee of tho ■Wellington Provincial Industrial AssOt ciation last night:—Messrs. E. Bull (president), L. It.' Partridge, S. S. Williams, Hardic Shaw, A. W. Newton, T, Ballinger, -N. Crabtree, R. Tomlinej H. H. Seaton, H. Reid, arid G. Norton. Mr. Robert Buchanan, of Ohristchurbh, who was introduced by the secretary (Mr. H. F.'Allen) as an enthusiastic member of the Canterbury Industrial Association, was also present. The Exhibitions Bill, which has been introduced by the.Minister for Labour, was unanimously approved. ;' . ' A statement of the finances of tho association, was read by tho . secretary, showing assets £177:165. 9d. (including £107 10s. od. on fixed deposit, and £G2 outstanding subscriptions), and-liabili-ties £6. -.- " A report of a visit to the municipal electrical power-house by a committee of the association was read, and the committee was accorded a vote of thanks. ■
