Mr. Andrew Fisher, the Commonwealth Prime Minister, states that he has paid ovor to tho States £406,700. This is the amount withheld from them for the year ended June 30 last. Tho readjustment of the Treasury figures shows'that tho Federal deficit at tho end of Juno was £551,832.
