THE SECOND LINE TO AUSTRALIA. By TelcErauh—Press Association—Conyrlcht (Rec. August 10, 0.15 a.m.) Sydney, August 9. Tho chairman of 'the Pacific Cable Board states' that he cannot give any details of the second Australian and New Zealand cable' which the London message states is proposed. He has no knowlcdgo of any intention to duplicate the existing Pacific cable, but assumes that the message refers to the Board's proposal to lay a cable from Sydney to New .Zealand.
