Commercial men in Glasgow have decided to oppose the Wireless Tele-, graphy Bill, introduced into the House of Commons by Sir Edward Sassoon on July 1, to provide for compulsory installations on passenger ships.
The ,Glasgow Steamship Owners' Association states that the Bill is unnecessary, and if passed would impose groat hardships on purely cargo steamers. It seemed to the association to have been promoted merely in the ■ interest -of the wireless companies. . ....
