1> Before the JIuU Council-proceeded to business last evening, tho Mayor (Mr. C. P. Bunny) mentioned that Mrs. Bunny was in receipt of snvernl subscription lists from Jlrs. T. M. Wilford, in connection with the proposed Children's Hospital for Wellington. After*- referring to this worthy object, the Mayor handed the list to councillors. ■ ; . LOWER HUTT RINK. Another successful session was held at the Lower Hurt Skating Rink last evening, a large number being present. Tho toboggan was again in evidence, and quite a number of ladies successfully skated over it.
