NOTICE ia hereby givon that the Council of the Borough of Karori intends to apply to His Excellency the Governor in Council for an Order authorising tho construction of a tramway leading from the-terminus in Karori of the existing Tramway, ami ending in a point nearly opposite tho southern boun<Ury of tho Recreation Ground. Such proposed tramway is intended to consist of "a single line, with crossings and sidings where necessary, and it is proposed to use electricity as tho motive power, and for that purpose to erect such posts and overhead conducting wires as shall be deemed necessary. Plans and- cross sections showing, tho nature of the works proposed to bo undertaken are deposited "in tho offices of tho Borough Council at Karori, and will remain open for public inspection during office hours the first four weeks after thu first publication of this notice.
