The Minister for Agriculture (the Hon. Thos. Mackenzie) states that not nearly so many trout have been thinned out of tho lakes at Rotorua as reports that have been current would indicate, and whether this thinning operation will bo continued in future years will depend on the effect ol this year's operations.
