■WEDNESDAY ASSOCIATION. ■ The second series of hookey games in the final round was played yesterday afternoon, and resulted as follow: • PAKEHA, 1; HUI MAI A, NIL. This gumo was played on Duppa Street Park, lu the first spell Pakeha, from the bully-off, carried tho ball into tho Hul 'Mai circle, when Sliipton drove it to Nutter, to Jackson, to Oiracie, who-(with a pretty back-handed drive) registered tho first goal within three minutes of the commencement of tho game. When the game was again started Ilui Mai kept up u strong attack on tho Pakeha goal. It was only the fine defence of M'Eldowney at full-back ami Smith in goal that saved a score. The spell ended— Pnkeha 1, Hiii Mai nil. In tho second spell Hui Mai had all the best of the game, play being for tho most part in Pakeha .quarters. Ilui Mai had no less than five shots at goal, only missing each time by a few inches. Taking the play all through, Hui Mai should have won. The spell, however, ended without any score being put up, I'akeha thus winning by one goal to nil. For the winners, Smith, 51'Eldowney; Grade, Thompson, and Jackson were the best; while for Hiii Mai, Hunter, Clementson, • Kuch, Owens, Hoy, and Garbes were the best. Mr. Cusack was referee.

PETONE, 3; KAEORI, 2. The match Petone v. Karori was played at Kelburno Park, and resulted in a win for Petone by 3 goals to 2. In. the first spell PetoiiG had all the best of the game, scoring one goal.tM'Ewan) to nil. In tho second spell, Karori put more life into the game. A' passing rush was started by Atkin and finished up by Dyer notching a goal, Petono then mado the game open, and J. 31'J!wan, with a hard drive, gave the wing men a chance, Besivick passing the ball to Taplin, only to receive it back again, and driving it into the net. ■ From. tho bully-off Gayford started a rush by driving the ball to Atkin, to Cole, lu M'JCelvey, who drove hard to F. Spiers, the latter scoring, making the score 2 all. .Within a few minutes of time W. M'Ewan, for Petone, finished up' a fine run by . scoring the last goal, Petonu thus. winning by 3 to 2. For the winners, M'Ewan brothers, Tapliri, and IJeswick; and for Karori, F. Spiers, Guyford, Atkin, and Dunkley were tho best. Mr. Carver was referee. LADIES' TOURNAMENT.
