John Jones and Albert Jones, officials, of the Gelligaer Parish Council, Glamorganshire, . have each been sentenced to iivo years' imprisonment on charges of conspiracy to defraud tho ratepayers of large sums of money. Six parish councillors have, also been sentenced to terms of from two to four months' imprisonment for conspiracy and corrupt practices. .j, \ ■
