. Messrs. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report:—At Shannon,-on Friday, we had a very good yarding of sheep, and a fair yarding of cattle and pigs. All classes met with a ready sale, especially forward wethers and hoggets, and we had an almost total clearance at the following prices :-Fat ewes, 14s. to Ms. 9d.; fat and forward wethers, 16s. Id., 16s. 3d., 17s. 6d.; sound-mouthed ewes in lamb, 13s. 2d.; hogts, 12s. 9d. to 13s. 2d.; store ewes, 7s. Bd.; 18-months steers, £3 12s. 6d.; mixed yearlings, 225.; £2'1.i., to £2 10s.; springing cows, £5 2s. 6d. to £5 155.; springing heifers, £5 to £5 10s.; heifers,in calf. £3 10s. to £4 165.; forward empty cows. £4 to £4 55.; store cows, £2- 15s. to £2 17s. Atkinson and Co., Ltd., report heavy entries in all lines on Friday and a. brisk sale. Poultry and pigs were forward in''large numbers, and of;a good class. For Mr. J. 11. .Hubb's cows there was keen competition, and they sold, well, making up to £9 for heifers and £10 15s. for second calvers. Grown pigs and porkers were dull of sale in contrast to previous week's market. Poultry.sold well up to ruling rates, with good/demand for young turkeys.
