'.•.-■ - •;.-■ Nineteen new members were elected at the annual meeting of the Masterton A. and P. Association on Saturday. , Mr. William Perry stated at the annual meeting.of the Masterton A. and P. Association, oil Saturday- that .he hoped to see proper stud fairs arranged in the Dominion. Tho stud rams of particular breeds should be sold in different localities, as in tho Old Country.' He saw no reason why the Wairarapa'should not have a good fail - . With three fairs, tho best stud rams would be kept back from private sale and offered in. different parts. ' At the.Masterton A. and Pi meeting on Saturday Mr. G. C. Summerell reviewed the market conditions. He said that the cloud of depression which was upon them last year had lifted. Their exports had exceeded ■ their imports by £6,000,000. The wool exported was 21,000 bales in excess' of that of tho previous year, and there was every indication that the price of wool would be maintained. Tho butter market and grain market were also sound.
