AYRSHIRE BREEDERS.

MEETING OF ASSOCIATION. A meeting of the council of the New Zealand Ayrshire Cattle, Breeders' Association was held at Dawick's Bnfl'ot, l'almerston North, .yesterday afternoon. There were present Messrs. .1. Kyle (ill the chair), J). Buchanan, C. AVuodley, and C. E. Benscmcn (secretary). The secretary reported .that entries for the Stud Booh were coming freely, including a number from the Government State farms. A number of new members had joined, and the association was making- substantial progress. Good progress was also being made with the editing of the Herd Book., which would be issued shortly. A large amount of routine business was dealt with, and a' vote of thanks was passed to Messrs. Dawick Bros, for . the use of their rooms.
