Attention is drawn to the advertisement relating to Mr. S. K. Lancaster's annual sale of selected dairy stock. This year it is Mr. Lancaster's intention to offer 25 purebred Jersey cows ■ an 3 heifers, 10' purebred Jersey bulls, 40 grade Jersey cows, in milk, 100 choice grade Jersey springing heifers, and 300 grade Jersey springing cows. Mr. Lancaster lias long been recognised as the authority on the ideal dairy cow, from a productive point, of view, and his; undoubted experience enables Kim tn collect together only those cows which it pays to keep. The advantage to bo gained by attending the sale must lieapparont "to all in want of good cows. As. in the past, Messrs. Abraham and Williams, Ltd.,-will conduct the sale, which this year will bo a two-days' fiiture, on August $ and 3. Woodfield's drags will meet the trains and convey buyers to the sale, returning each day in time to catch the evening trains.
