SYDNEY'S POPULATION.
FIFTEEN THOUSAND INCREASE. By Telegraph—Press Association-Copyright Sydney, July 28. The report of the Chief Medical Officer shows that last year the population of the metropolis increased by fifteen thousand. Births averaged 2G.11 per thousand, il legitimate births contributing 10 per centum. Tho death-rate was 11.0'J—the lowest on record.
