RUGBY AMATEUR STATUS.
NEW SOUTH WALES DEFINITION. Uj Telegraph—Prwe Association—Copyright. (Rec. July 29, 1.5 a.m.) Sydney, July 28. The Metropolitan Rugby Union Committee has decided to recommend the adoption of a definition which will make for out-and-out amateurism. Under the definition a Rugby Union player will have to be an amateur in all departments of sport.
