THE PALMERSTON MEETING. (By TeleEraph.-Bpocial Corrcsoondcnt.l Palmerston, July 28. Beautiful weather again prevailed today for the conclusion of the Palmerston Coursing Club's meeting. As on the first day, the arrangements were complete, and reflect credit on. the secretary (Mr. A. H. Rogers) and the executive officers. Tile hares ran strongly, getting to cover nearly every time, and gave excellent sport. The following are tho concluding results :— Supplementary Stakes. First Round: Barnes Bluff beat Kilfehham; Dart beat Patchwork; Kemp beat Duko of Cornwall; Reminder beat Katakana; Brass Plate, a bye. Second Round: Barnes Bluff beat Kemp; The Dart beat Brass Plate after two no-courses; Reminder, a bye. Serui-Final: Barnes Bluff beat Reminder; The Dart, a bye. Final: Mr. A. H. Roger's The Dart beat Mr. Hanill's Barnes Bluff, after a severe course. Manawahi Hundred. Third Round: Daystar beat Bijou; Aurora aad Kufus Dawcs ran two undecided courses, and, at the third attempt, Rufus Dawes scored easily; Ru'oberoid beat Wednesday. Semi-Final: Daystar beat E.ufus Dawes; Rubberoid, a bye. Final: Mr. Downes's Daystar beat Mr. Thompson's Rubberoid by 3 io 2. North Island Challenge Cup. Hazel beat Baffles by 3 to nil; Gold Quartz, a bye. ■ Final: Mr* A. H. Roger's Hazel beat Mr. T. RichardsV Gold Quartz by 3 to 1.
