Tho London "Daily Chronicle" states that members of the Mafia Society in Sicily have for some time terrorised landowners and wealthy merchants. At Alcamo they shot with a revolver a vigneron, and clubbed to death a farmer. They then quarrelled over their booty, and during tho fight that followed three were killed with knives and then decapitated, the bodies being buried with tho feet exposed.
