LABOUR PROPOSAL LOST. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Kec. July 27, 11.15 p.m.) London, July 27. The amendment to the Civil List Bill moved by Mr. G. N. Barnes (Labour), and proposing the transfer of the revenues of the Duchies of Lancaster and Cornwall to the Exchequer in. return for additional grants to the Crown, was rejected by 221 votes to 52. The Civil List Bill was then read a second time.
